Top lawyers recognised in client choice awards

Six leading New Zealand lawyers have been recognised for the excellence service they provide to clients.

Troy Pilkington (competition and antitrust), David Hoare (general corporate), Christopher Young (intellectual property: trademarks), Sarah Armstrong (litigation), Rodney Craig (M&A), and Adam Holloway (public law) have been honoured in the 2019 International Law Office Client Choice Awards.

The awards, established in 2005, recognise firms and partners around the world with excellent client care and the quality of their service, International Law Office said. Nominations can only be made by in-house counsel.

Pilkington, Hoare, and Armstrong are Russell McVeagh partners. Young and Craig are MinterEllisonRuddWatts partners, while Holloway is a DLA Piper partner.

This is the fourth time Armstrong has won the litigation category in New Zealand. This year also marks the third time Hoare has been recognised in the corporate category, Russell McVeagh said.
