Michael Napoli has provided Supercars with legal advice and support to navigate through COVID-19 challenges and restrictions, as he maintained focus on Supercars’ legal team’s main goal, which is to provide legal support that enables the championship to continue for the fans.
Napoli has demonstrated proactive leadership by keeping up-to-date with daily government announcements, and improving processes within the legal team at Supercars so that they can be more efficient. He has championed the use of new legal technologies, including Webex Teams, Microsoft Teams, DocuSign, VPNs, and Microsoft OneDrive, to himself and his team more accessible and available to the business and its stakeholders. While most sports were in complete lockdown, Napoli had supported the business in creating a new e-sports competition, Supercars All-Stars Eseries, which became one of the few sports in Australia to continue to provide content to its fans during the COVID-19 pandemic.
