The firm recently trialed the legal AI platform with its corporate, commercial and property groups
Pinsent Masons has entered into a global strategic partnership with legal AI platform Legora.
This follows the conclusion of a pilot programme launched across the firm’s corporate, commercial and property groups. Pinsent Masons will implement the platform throughout its worldwide corporate, commercial and property practices, with trials set to begin in other practice groups.
To support the Legora rollout, the firm will utilize its AI Champions cohort, which consists of lawyers at different levels (associate to partner) who will be trained in and tasked with upskilling their colleagues.
“Our structured pilot was developed with colleagues in corporate, commercial and property and enabled us to rapidly pinpoint effective use cases. That clarity means our subsequent phased firmwide implementation will deliver meaningful results far more quickly. For us, this is what the conscious deployment of technology is all about”, director of transformation Neil Green said.
As a result of the partnership, the number of Legora users at Pinsent Masons has hit the 1,000 mark. This figure is set to increase as use cases are proven, the firm said.
