MinterEllisonRuddWatts has taken home the New Zealand’s Best Law Firm award at the 2026 Beaton Client Choice Awards.
The firm beat out fellow finalists DLA Piper, Simpson Grierson and Anderson Lloyd. The award recognised the firm’s service and robust relationships, as well as its technical expertise and commercial insight.

Beaton Client Choice Awards winners are selected based on client feedback.
King & Wood Mallesons was crowned Best Australian Law Firm (>$300m revenue) over Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer, Gilbert + Tobin and Thomson Geer. Lander & Rogers won Best Australian Law Firm ($100-$300m revenue) and Kingston Reid received Best Australian Law Firm ($30-$100m revenue).
Migration Affairs was awarded Best Law & Related Services Firm (<$30m revenue).
