Maddocks has a dedicated innovation strategy, MaddX, assisting to implement innovative thinking across the firm. Since launching the strategy in late 2017, Maddocks has trained 200 partners and staff in design thinking “to help with generating, evaluating and progressing ideas.” In 2018, Maddocks also launched Madd Ideas, a crowdsourcing platform geared towards gathering and processing fresh ideas from across the firm. And many of the ideas have legs, it seems. “Since its launch, Madd Ideas has generated more than 49 ideas, 16 of which have moved to the experimentation or implementation stage.”
