Moray & Agnew has established a presence in Cairns.

“This regional expansion will enable Moray & Agnew to bring national knowledge and support delivered locally to the North and Far North Region of Queensland, and is an exciting development for our firm and our clients,” national managing partner Geoffrey Connellan said.

Helping to grow the new branch will be new partner Andrew Kerr. The veteran lawyer has represented local governments, statutory corporations, landholders and mining companies throughout North and Far North Queensland for more than 25 years.

His practice focuses on native title, cultural heritage, planning and state land tenure conversion areas. His clients include Gulf of Carpentaria, Cape York Peninsula and the Torres Strait.

Kerr will be working alongside Moray & Agnew Brisbane managing partner Michael Garbett.
