The promotions in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney also include two new special counsel and two new senior associates

Holding Redlich has welcomed two lawyers to the partnership, with the promotion of Alexandra Tighe in Melbourne and Lindsay McGregor in Sydney.

Tighe specialises in dispute resolution and litigation. Her areas of expertise include shareholder disputes, equitable actions, trusts, wills and estates litigation, Corporations Law, general contractual disputes, property law, competition and consumer law, regulatory, and superannuation.

McGregor specialises in property and real estate. He has extensive experience in commercial property transactions, including in acquisitions and sales, due diligence, financing, and stamp duty structuring.

The firm has also appointed four lawyers to senior positions. Appointed to special counsel are Ravi Jayemanne and Lauren Freeman, who are both based in Melbourne. Jayemanne is part of the firm’s superannuation and funds management team while Freeman is a member of the personal injury group.

Meanwhile, Wylie Thorpe in Brisbane and Genna Angelowitsch in Melbourne were elevated to senior associates. Thorpe is a part of the dispute resolution and litigation team and Angelowitsch is a part of the personal injury team.

Ian Robertson, Holding Redlich national managing partner, said that the promotions are significant achievements and career milestones. The firm is particularly pleased that the appointees are “home grown,” he added.
