Data Zoo taps KWM for support on Ellerston Capital investment

King and Wood Mallesons (KWM) has provided guidance to Data Zoo Holdings Pty Ltd (Data Zoo) in relation to a significant investment by Ellerston Capital.

The investment enables Data Zoo to concentrate on new areas of growth and bolster its global presence. The digital identification verification provider backs businesses in eCommerce, financial services, fintech, digital payments and social media.

According to KWM lead partner Anthony Boogert, the deal “signifies the continuing trend of investment in tech-based and digital focused businesses”. He also described it as an “important transaction for the local technology sector”.

The deal was completed on 15 April.

Boogert was supported by solicitor Lauren Meyers-Young.
