Carter Newell has elevated three lawyers to senior positions in Brisbane, reflecting the growth of one of the firm’s divisions.

Promoted to special counsel are Andrew Persijn and Katherine Hayes. Greg Stirling has been made senior associate. All three are part of the firm’s insurance team, which is part of the financial lines division.

Persijn had broad experience in professional indemnity matters, particularly in the real estate and property sector.

Stirling, who has significant experience in policy interpretation and coverage disputes, acts in a wide range of complex and high-value professional indemnity claims.

Carter Newell now has 10 special counsel and 22 senior associates. The firm has offices in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney.
