Wynn Williams has confirmed to NZ Lawyer eight new starters and two promotions in the past few months.

The appointments were made across the firm’s Christchurch and Auckland offices and span the firm’s corporate and commercial, resource management and environmental law, and dispute resolution practices.

  • Sam McIntosh – Dispute resolution, Auckland
  • Anna-Louise Brookman – Dispute resolution, Auckland
  • Emmalene Lake – Resource management and environmental law, Auckland
  • Prashant Kumar – Corporate and commercial, Auckland

Wynn Williams recently promoted Katherine Binsted to senior associate and James Anson-Holland and Courtney Donaldson to associate. Those promotions boosted the firm’s commercial and dispute resolution practices.

The national firm also recently promoted Michelle Mehlhopt to special counsel, bolstering the senior ranks in the firm’s resource management team in Christchurch. The promotion completed the firm’s promotions in April.

In March, Wynn Williams appointed Penny Birch as a senior associate in its corporate and commercial team in Auckland. She moved from Duncan Cotterill. The firm also welcomed Tegan Wadworth to its Christchurch resource management team as a law clerk.
