Lane Neave has bolstered its partnership in Auckland with the promotion of one of the firm’s top property lawyers.

The firm announced that Ed Smithies has become the fourth partner in its national property practice.

Smithies boasts 15 years of industry experience in New Zealand and the UK, advising clients on significant capital market transactions, commercial investments, and developments across the real estate sector.

His expertise includes advising clients on the negotiation of sale and purchase agreements, leases, development agreements, and construction contracts. He also regularly assists international investors in managing the overseas investment approval process.
