Rachel Plieger and Jacqui Anderson have joined Juno Legal’s team, bringing with them decades of experience in key areas like climate, ESG and corporate and commercial law.

Oamaru-based Plieger presently works with FNZ Group. She is dual-qualified in New Zealand and the UK, has been practising for more than 25 years. She focuses on banking and finance and commercial law.

She has tackled matters involving risk and governance, climate and ESG throughout a career spanning both the in-house and private practice sectors. Plieger has a decorated resume, having been a senior legal counsel, acting head of legal and COO and head of NVM Business Governance; while based in London, she recorded a stint with Natwest Markets.

Anderson has been in the profession for more than two decades. She specialises in general corporate and commercial law, projects, M&A, privacy and data protection, consumer law, financial services law and regulation, and governance.

She has held senior roles at AMP Wealth Management NZ (where she was head of legal and senior legal adviser), Tower New Zealand Limited and JB Were (NZ) Pty Ltd. She also spent some time at Russell McVeagh.

Currently, Anderson is guiding Todd Corporation from her base in Auckland.
