The new senior associate enhances the firm’s employment practice in Auckland
Former Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora senior legal counsel (employment) Sianatu Lotoaso has joined Buddle Findlay as a senior associate.
Lotoaso commenced with the firm’s employment team in Auckland last month. She focuses on employment (and related laws) and dispute resolution.
She has tackled all aspects of the employment relationship, having advised on matters involving personal grievances, investigations, executive negotiated exits, disciplinary processes, restraint of trade, performance management, medical incapacity, restructuring and redundancy. She has also handled collective and individual employment agreements.
Lotoaso has attended mediations on behalf of both employers and employees. She has conducted workplace investigations for major employer companies.
Her areas of expertise include health, privacy and cyber security, and litigation and dispute resolution. Per LinkedIn, she also practised with Dundas Street in Wellington as an associate, with Simpson Grierson as a senior solicitor, and with Hospitality New Zealand as a senior legal counsel.
