The new associate and senior lawyer commence at the firm's Whangarei and Warkworth branches
WRMK Lawyers has beefed up its associate and senior lawyer ranks with the hire of Amelia Tai Kie and Amber Pemberton.
Tai Kie joins the associates in the firm’s commercial team at Whangarei. She has worked in agribusiness, rural and commercial law for almost a decade, tackling issues involving the sale and purchase of farms, orchards and lifestyle blocks, ownership structures, leasing, subdivisions, commercial property development and residential property transactions.
She was previously an associate with Sharp Tudhope Lawyers. She spent over nine years with the firm, according to LinkedIn.
Pemberton joins the senior solicitor ranks in Warkworth. She has handled matters related to wills, enduring powers of attorney, trust reviews and formations, conveyancing, residential and commercial property financing, occupation right agreements and retirement living.
She has worked across New Zealand and Canada, with roles at Harmans Lawyers, Calgary-based Cidel and Shim Law, also in Calgary, according to LinkedIn.
In July, WRMK brought in family law specialist David Shanahan as a consultant in Whangārei.
