His clients include Australian retail brand Brett Blundy Retail Group and global brands Lovisa, Honey Birdette, Bassike and State of Escape Accessories.

According to the firm, Gibson’s experience in some of Australia’s landmark IP judgments will help boost its intellectual property practice group, which was recently recognised by World Trade Review 1000 for its trademark prosecution and strategy.

“IP disputes and defamation matters are not for the faint of heart. They require a strong resolve and in-depth knowledge of the intricacies of law,” national managing principal lawyer Grant Guenther said. “Stuart’s ability to fiercely advocate for his clients will be an incredible asset to individuals and businesses looking to put safeguards in place to protect their reputation and brand.”
