Hive Legal has announced the promotion of three lawyers as it continues to expand its corporate offering.

Senior associate Rohila Rahimi has ascended to the role of associate principal. A specialist in corporate, commercial and regulatory law, she first joined the firm in 2015.

She regularly advises on complex commercial transactions, including private and public M&A, equity capital markets, corporate governance, and general corporate advisory. She has also developed an interest in energy law and has worked with clients across the electricity, gas, energy retail, and renewable energy sectors.

Rahimi has been recognised by the Legal 500 for her role in a number of significant capital markets and M&A transactions.

Associate Adrian Faelli and lawyer Stephanie Karas rose to the roles of senior associate and associate, respectively. Faelli has extensive expertise in corporate and commercial law, with experience handling the sale and purchase of businesses, capital raisings, corporate governance, and goods and services arrangements.

In addition, Faelli provides regulatory advice to clients across the technology, agribusiness, and fast-moving consumer goods industries. He also has a significant background in workplace relations.

Prior to joining Hive Legal, he was with KHQ Lawyers for over two years. He also held assistant positions at Aickin Chambers and the Australian Journal of Labour Law.

Karas is part of Hive Legal’s corporate, commercial and regulatory team. She works with clients in the health sector and highly regulated industries.

Her clients include government departments, healthcare service providers, charities, and small and medium-sized enterprises. She was once a solicitor at Melbourne Lawyers & Mediators, and began her legal career with Kyrou Lawyers and Maddocks as a law clerk.
