Catherine Wheeler has commenced as the newest partner in Piper Alderman’s real estate team.

Wheeler brings over 28 years of commercial practice experience in Perth, specialising in real estate, development, projects and finance. She concentrates on acquisitions, disposals and leasing matters across the industrial, commercial, agricultural, renewable energy, residential, aged care and retail sectors.

She has assisted corporate, government, and private clients, offering legal, strategic and compliance advice. She has also guided landowners and developers on renewable energy projects such as wind and solar farms and battery, water and electricity projects; her practice also covers banking and finance matters like development finance, insolvency, forced sales, and workouts.

Wheeler is a member of the Property Council of Western Australia Industrial and Logistics Committee and was a mentor in the National Women in Property program.
