Mark Stevens brings 30 years of corporate commercial experience
Deacons has strengthened its corporate commercial practice with the hire of experienced corporate lawyer Mark Stevens as partner.
Stevens joins from the Hong Kong office of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP. He also brings 18 years of experience from his earlier role as a partner with Mayer Brown in Hong Kong, and six years of experience from Eversheds in the UK.
In a career spanning more than three decades, Stevens has worked with clients in the Asia Pacific region on their inbound and outbound M&A, joint venture, private equity and other commercial transactions. He has broad sector experience working on transactions involving logistics, trading, sourcing, retail, fast moving consumer goods, real estate, hospitality, ecommerce, publishing and natural resources. His clients included blue chip listed and private entities, private equity funds as well as public utilities and statutory bodies.

Mark joins the corporate commercial practice at Deacons which now comprises seven partners, two consultants and 33 legal professionals.
