HHG Legal Group has announced its partnership with Perth-based tennis star Matt Ebden, who made it to the semifinals at this year’s Wimbledon tournament.

“We are excited to partner with Matt Ebden, an exceptional athlete and a true role model for our staff. We are thrilled that Matt has agreed to work with our leadership team on all things ‘high performance’,” executive chairman Simon Creek said.

The firm described the team-up as “an exciting milestone” that doubles down on its support of local talent, “fostering a culture of excellence and community engagement”.

“This exciting collaboration highlights the strong connection between elite tennis, and HHG's core values”, HHG Legal Group said. “As an accomplished athlete and a proud representative of Western Australia, Matt embodies the spirit of excellence both on and off the court, making him an ideal partner for HHG”.

The firm confirmed that it would back Ebden in his continued drive for excellence in professional tennis.

Ebden was crowned a champion in men’s doubles at Wimbledon last year along partner Max Purcell. This year, he reached the semifinals of the tournament, partnering with Rohan Bopanna; the pair was bested by Wesley Koolhof and Neal Skupski on Thursday, ending Ebden’s Wimbledon run.

Last year, HHG Legal Group was tapped as the legal representative of WA’s first FIA Formula 2 racer, Calan Williams.
