Australia’s fastest-growing law firms for 2023

This year’s fastest-growing law firms have distinguished themselves in the dynamic legal field by taking a holistic approach to accelerate their operations while maintaining high-quality work and client service; focusing on staff development and training as well as strategic recruitment; and preserving the core values of their workplace culture while scaling up.

2023 Fast Firm Kerrs logged more than 200% growth in revenue, with a 2022 merger fuelling its growth trajectory. It also launched new offices – a first in Adelaide and a second in Sydney. Moreover, the firm announced a merger with Daniela Fazio Lawyers Pty Ltd last month.

“Our growth has far surpassed what I could have ever imagined, and a big part of that is that we’re getting approached by people who are dissatisfied with the corporate, button-down culture and want more flexibility”, founder and director Tean Kerr said.

Meanwhile, Fast Firm Stevens & Associates Lawyers credited its SEO strategy and website redesign with being a significant factor in its growth. Fast Firm New South Lawyers opted to focus on niche practice areas and capitalise on modern marketing strategies, among others.

Fast Firm Ligeti Partners, which celebrated its 40th year in the industry this year, strengthened its leadership with the appointments of a new CIO and a new CFO. The firm also invested in staff wellbeing through the establishment of an HR department.
