Russell Kennedy has announced the appointment of Deren Hassan as a principal in its commercial litigation and dispute resolution practice in the Sydney office.

Hassan is a commercial disputes lawyer with over 28 years of experience in high-value litigious matters, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution. The firm noted that he can help clients manage risk and resolve complex and high-risk disputes across various jurisdictions.
“His experience across a range of industries and demonstrated expertise in litigation and alternative dispute resolution complements our valued service offering to clients seeking strong, strategic representation in high-risk matters,” Hubble-Marriott said in the firm’s media release.
In its media release, Russell Kennedy shared that it has operated for over 120 years and has more than 350 people across its offices in Melbourne and Sydney.
