Nominations to the annual showcase of leading in-house lawyers that stand above the rest will close next Friday

Deadline closing in for In-House Leaders 2020

Nominations to the 2020 In-house Leaders list that showcases the most influential in-house counsel will end next Friday.

Submit a nomination here.

To be considered, nominees need to have worked in an in-house legal role for at least five years and be able to demonstrate a solid track record of achievement in their careers to date.

“Inclusion in the In-House Leaders List in 2019 has brought awareness to the for-purpose sector and the tireless work of in-house lawyers supporting this sector,” said 2019 In-House Leader Elaine Leong, group general counsel and group secretary for The Benevolent Society. “There are some aspects of legal work that are high-profiled that captures the attention and sentiment of the wider public more so than other legal work. The work of in-house lawyers often falls into the other category – the unglamorous and behind-the-scenes work often done without fanfare or attracting much attention. It is my delight that inclusion in this list has been able to help lift the awareness of the importance of in-house legal work in the for purpose sector.”

The process is simple and free—just complete this short online form. Nominations can be made on behalf of a colleague or industry peer, and self-nominations are also accepted.

Nominations close next Friday, 17 July 2020.

The In-house Leaders 2020 winners will be profiled on the Australasian Lawyer website and newsletter in September.
