Bradley Alcorn has been promoted to partner at Fee Langstone, reported the New Zealand Law Society.
He has been with the firm and its predecessor Jones Fee since 2008. He focuses on health and safety and resource management defences.
Alcorn has tackled civil and insurance litigation matters such as liability, general commercial insurance and statutory liability. He has also worked on issues involving transportation, maritime and marine insurance law.
He acted for a multinational company and its New Zealand subsidiaries on a workplace fatality matter and defended a major petroleum company on issues involving the Resource Management Act. He also acted for stevedores on RENA salvage operations.
Alcorn completed a secondment with a major insurer wherein he worked with the transport and marine claims team. He has also appeared before the District and High Courts.
He is part of the New Zealand Law Society, the Auckland Law Society, the New Zealand Insurance Law Association, the Marine Law Association of Australia and New Zealand, and the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.
