The deal enhances Resolution Life's scale and capability in the NZ market
Chapman Tripp has helped Resolution Life to acquire Asteron Life New Zealand, Suncorp Group’s life insurance company in New Zealand, for $410m.
The deal enhances the scale and capability of Resolution Life in the New Zealand market significantly. It is expected to be completed in nine months, pending approval from New Zealand regulatory authorities.
Chapman Tripp partner Bradley Kidd and senior associate Tom Jemson spearheaded the firm’s team on the transaction.
