Queenstown Lakes region firm Todd Walker has recognised a number of team members across its Queenstown and Wānaka offices with a new round of promotions, reflecting the ongoing growth of the people‑first firm.

Jessica Weinberg has been promoted to special counsel. She focuses on commercial and property law, advising on property transactions, share and asset sales, shareholders’ agreements, and banking and finance matters. She also has expertise in Overseas Investment Office issues and advises on estate planning, including wills and trusts.

Sarah Ogilvie has been promoted to special counsel. She specialises in property and trust law and advises clients on both personal and business matters. Her work spans residential and commercial conveyancing, refinancing, asset planning and trusts, and she also assists clients with estate planning, including wills and enduring powers of attorney.

Robbie Bryant has also been promoted to special counsel. A specialist employment lawyer, he leads the firm’s employment practice and advises boards of directors, senior managers and executives, human resources and people managers, and business owners throughout New Zealand and overseas. He handles both contentious and non-contentious matters, with particular expertise in senior exits, restraints of trade and other post-employment obligations.

Paige Noorland has been promoted to senior associate. An experienced criminal defence lawyer in the firm’s litigation team, she has conducted more than 25 jury trials in the High Court and District Court. Her trial work ranges from serious violence, sexual violence and serious drug offending to dishonesty and driving offences. In addition to private instructions, she is a duty lawyer and Legal Aid provider and regularly appears in the Queenstown, Invercargill, Dunedin and Alexandra District Courts.

Rachel Kuklinski has also been promoted to senior associate. She is an experienced property and commercial lawyer who advises on residential and rural property transactions, occupation right agreements, contract reviews and financing. She also advises on relationship property and estate planning matters, including wills and enduring powers of attorney.

Zak Kneebone has been promoted to associate. He has extensive experience advising clients on relationship property disputes, contracting out agreements, parenting and guardianship matters, family violence matters, estate disputes, and applications under the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act. He regularly represents clients in Family Court hearings and is also a lead provider of Family Legal Aid services.

Atlanta Stewart has been promoted to associate registered legal executive. She assists clients with residential and commercial conveyancing, refinancing and estate administration matters, and supports clients with trusts, wills and enduring powers of attorney, working closely with the wider team to ensure matters progress smoothly.

Katie Hensman has been promoted to senior solicitor. Working across property, private client and commercial matters, she advises on residential and commercial conveyancing, property due diligence reporting, commercial contract review and leasing. She is also involved in trust law and private client work, including estate planning.

Maddy Masterton has been promoted to senior solicitor. She specialises in employment law, regularly advising both employers and employees on a wide range of workplace issues. She also has extensive experience in family and relationship property law, assisting with care of children and guardianship matters, family violence proceedings, relationship property division and contracting out agreements.

Lewis Webb, who specialises in criminal defence, has also been promoted to senior solicitor. He advises on a wide range of cases including serious violence and sexual violence offending, drug related matters, dishonesty and driving offences, regularly appearing in the Queenstown and Invercargill District Courts.

Emily Mills has been promoted to office coordinator. She plays a key role in supporting the firm’s property and commercial team, assisting with the preparation of property transaction documents, liaising with external stakeholders such as banks and real estate agents, and helping to ensure deadlines are met efficiently and accurately.
