Wellington firm elevates three

Parker & Associates has elevated three lawyers, including one to partner.

James Wollerman has joined the Wellington-based civil litigation-focused firm’s partnership, according to the New Zealand Law Society.

He specialised in commercial claims, with a focus on construction, insurance, and property litigation. He is also an expert in alternative dispute resolution.

Wollerman joined the firm in 2008 and joined Dan Parker and Stuart Dalzell in partnership last month.

Parker & Associates has also named Danielle Thorne and Michael Riordan as associates.

Thorne, who joined the firm in 2015, is focused on civil and commercial litigation, including insurance, defective buildings, contract disputes, and representative actions.

Riordan, who joined the firm in February, is focused on civil litigation, including personal, commercial, and trust disputes. He was previously with Palmerston North’s Cooper Rapley and the Real Estate Authority.
