Tompkins Wake confirms role in PropertySuite sale to MRI Software

Tompkins Wake has confirmed its role in the sale of Auckland-based property tech start-up PropertySuite to American real estate software provider MRI Software.

The acquisition highlights MRI’s driving dedication to “making life easier for modern real estate agencies grappling with extraordinary change.” As part of the deal, PropertySuite will continue to operate across New Zealand and Australia, where its integrated real estate management platform is expected to be of strong interest to existing MRI residential, commercial, rural and project marketing customers.

“Existing customers of both MRI and PropertySuite will benefit from enhanced product development and innovation, augmented client training and support, and easy access to an expanded integration ecosystem as part of the MRI Software suite of solutions,” PropertySuite co-founder Michael Graves said.

Commercial partner Tom Arieli led the Tompkins Wake team in advising Property Suite on all aspects of the transaction. He was assisted by senior associate Luke Bower.

“New Zealand has a thriving property tech ecosystem, and it comes as no surprise that it is attracting international attention,” Arieli said.” PropertySuite is a perfect example of home-grown Kiwi innovative and we are delighted to have supported it through this process.”
