Saunders Robinson Brown (SRB) has expanded its roster of associates with the promotion of five lawyers to the role.

The elevations were made last month within the trusts and estates, commercial, and litigation teams, beefing up the firm’s offerings in these areas.

Sam de Buyzer, Cameron Melville and Elyse Middleton advise on trusts, estate and asset planning, providing guidance on complex trust arrangements, trust administration, and the preparation of wills and enduring powers of attorney. Young Yoon focuses on retail leasing as a seasoned practitioner when it comes to commercial property transactions. Lily Cain handles family-related issues such as contracting-out agreements, separation agreements and parenting arrangements.

In addition, John Summers and Sandy Johnston of the trust and estates team were promoted to associate – registered legal executive. Both concentrate on the administration and management of deceased estates, preparation of wills, enduring powers of attorney and elder person care.

Rangiora-based Shannon Brien was elevated to senior solicitor. The property lawyer, who commenced with the firm in 2020, advises on the sale and purchase of property, associated issues and general property law concerns.

Pending approval from the NZILE, fellow property team member Catherine Cosgrove is set to ascend to the position of registered legal executive. She focuses on matters involving residential sub-divisions and developments.
