Senior lawyer joins the independent bar

Stephanie Grieve has commenced practice as a barrister sole.

The civil litigation and insurance expert joins the independent bar from Duncan Cotterill, where she was a litigation partner since 2011. She was also an Anderson Lloyd partner in Christchurch for seven years.

Grieve, who was admitted in 1997, has advised and appeared on earthquake claims, professional liability, and disciplinary matters. She is also an expert in regulatory offences, particular health and safety prosecutions.

She now practices out of premises on High Street in Christchurch.
