Flacks & Wong’s newest senior associate joins the boutique from a global firm.
Katie Green has joined the corporate law-focused boutique in Auckland. Green made the move from London, where she was a senior associate for New Zealand at Herbert Smith Freehills. She was also previously with Bell Gully in Auckland.
Green significantly strengthens the firm’s senior lawyer-only team, Flacks & Wong said. An expert in corporate and commercial law, she is experienced in M&A, private equity, capital markets, and corporate governance.
Green regularly advises on consumer and privacy law, sponsorship, franchising, and complex commercial arrangements.
Flacks & Wong was established by David Flacks and Daniel Wong in 2015. Flacks spent nearly three decades as a partner at Bell Gully, while Wong was a senior associate at the top-tier firm.
