Saunders Robinson Brown (SRB) has elevated six lawyers in a recent promotions cycle.

Michael Vanner and Katrina Wood got the nod to senior associate. Both are part of the firm’s commercial team.

Vanner focuses on commercial property transactions and development, subdivisions, leasing, business sales and purchases and construction concerns. He first joined SRB in 2014.

Wood is a commercial property and retail leasing specialist. She has advised clients on commercial contracts, company structuring, joint ventures and trust law.

She joined the firm in 2019 from Wynn Williams.

Meanwhile, Callan Wilson and Jess McCormick of the property practice were promoted to senior solicitors. They concentrate on the issues involving the sale and purchase of properties, and possess experience in general land law matters as well.

The trusts and estates team’s Elyse Middleton and Sam de Buyzer also ascended to the role of senior solicitor. They handle estate planning, trust administration and occupation right agreements.

SRB’s new managing partner Jonathan Gillard praised the promotions, saying that they highlighted the depth of legal talent the firm had.

“All the promotions are well deserved, these team members all strive to deliver upon the firm’s values – particularly getting the best results for great clients,” he said.

The growing firm also promoted the following:

  • John Summers – senior registered legal executive (trusts and estate)
  • Jenny Townsend – senior legal executive (trusts and estate)
  • Emma Morgan – senior registered legal executives (property)
  • Casey Trowbridge – senior registered legal executive (property)
  • Natasha Lamont – legal secretary
