Morrison Kent has welcomed David Abricossow as senior associate, according to the New Zealand Law Society.

The newly appointed lawyer was most recently a senior associate at Parker & Associates in Wellington. He started his legal career at Russell McVeagh. He is also currently joint chairman of the trust board of Te Whare Ture Hapori - Community Law Wellington and Hutt Valley.

Abricossow is an expert in civil and family litigation, as well as dispute resolution. The firm said that he has considerable experience in all stages of the litigation process. He specialises in commercial and property litigation, relationship property, and trust and estate disputes.

He has also appeared in the High Court, District Court, and Family Court, as sole counsel and co-counsel. He also has experience advising on matters before the Court of Appeal, the Alcohol Regulatory and Licensing Authority, and Disputes Tribunal.
