Experts in banking and financial services, environment, dispute resolution, and corporate law have been elevated to senior positions
MinterEllisonRuddWatts has strengthened its banking and finance, environment, dispute resolution, and corporate groups with the elevation of three lawyers to senior posts.
The top firm has promoted Charlotte Carey, Stephanie de Groot, and Nick Frith to senior associate, reflecting its growth in the New Zealand market.
Carey, who’s based in Wellington, joined MinterEllisonRuddWatts’ banking and financial services group as a senior solicitor in 2014. A key member of the insolvency and recoveries practice, Carey has become a trusted advisor to major clients and has played roles in winning new business, the firm said.
In Auckland, de Groot has been a part of the firm’s environment team since joining as a law clerk in 2010, after being a part of the coastal and air quality compliance team of the Auckland Regional Council. She specialises in all aspects of environment law and has built industry reputation and strong relationships with a range of clients.
Also in Auckland, Frith joined the firm in 2010 and has since gone on to develop an expertise in insurance and brokering law. He is a member of the firm’s dispute resolution team.
The firm has also promoted Jeryl-lynn Govender (corporate, Wellington) and Zoe Barnes (corporate - tax, Auckland) to senior solicitors.
