Australasian Lawyer and NZ Lawyer are now accepting submissions for the 2026 5-Star Employers of Choice, highlighting the legal employers where professionals truly want to build their careers.
Each year, the report showcases the workplaces going above and beyond to prioritise their people – from innovative flexibility and wellbeing programs to clear, supported career pathways. In the 2025 report, 44 organisations stood out as the ideal workplaces for legal professionals in the region, reflecting the depth of talent and ambition across Australia and New Zealand.
Recent winners have been recognised for setting the benchmark for excellence in workplace culture and staff wellbeing, with firms assessed across 11 core areas including career progression, work-life balance, and reward and recognition.
This year, the focus remains on employers that can demonstrate a genuine, data-backed commitment to people-first strategies – not just policies on paper. Whether you are a large commercial firm, a specialist boutique or an in-house legal team, you are invited to share how you support your lawyers and legal professionals to thrive.
