Harmans elevates Rebecca Kettle to partner

Harmans Lawyers has elevated senior associate Rebecca Kettle to partner, reported the New Zealand Law Society.

Kettle practises with the commercial and property law team. She focuses on issues involving asset protection, residential property and commercial property.

She has a particular interest in matters related to property development projects including large scale subdivisions. She has guided the buying and selling of residential and commercial property, leasing, subdivisions and shareholder agreements.

Kettle first joined Harmans in January 2018 as a senior solicitor. She also logged a stint at Simpson Grierson as an associate and was a litigation clerk at Kensington Swan, according to LinkedIn.

She is on the Property Council of New Zealand and part of the Canterbury Women’s Legal Association.

Corcoran French promotes three

Corcoran French welcomed new associate Tom Hooker, senior solicitor Zia Garcia and registered legal executive Georgia Norman.

Hooker is based in Ōtautahi. He focuses on family and relationship property matters, particularly care of children, family violence and Oranga Tamariki.

Garcia concentrates on trusts and estate planning, power of attorney, wills and estates, and property issues. She has worked with charitable organisations and incorporated societies.

Norman practises with the commercial team, handling property, refinancing, and trusts and estate planning matters. She was previously a legal secretary with the firm.
