Rebrand reflects legal practice’s identity, influence, future: managing director Aasha Foley

Hamilton law firm formerly known as iCLAW renamed Foley Douglas

Aasha Foley and Sam Douglas – directors of a legal practice formerly known as iCLAW, based in Hamilton, North Island – have decided to rebrand the law firm officially as Foley Douglas.

Since Foley and Douglas established iCLAW in 2017, they have worked together for almost eight years, according to the law firm’s news release.

The directors assured that, despite the name change, the law firm seeks to maintain a focus on its vision and its commitment to supporting its team members, clients, the broader Waikato community, and beyond.

“Yes, we’ve changed our name but our love of the law and our desire to help people remains as strong as ever,” said Foley, the law firm’s managing director, in the news release.

Foley noted that the law firm’s rebranding aims to reflect its identity, influence, and future.

“A name carries weight and meaning,” Foley said in the news release. “It’s not just about legal expertise; it’s about who we are, the values we embody, and the commitment we make.”

According to Douglas, the law firm strives to ensure that good Kiwi values serve as the foundation of its array of services.

“We are general legal practitioners, with specialist expertise across various areas of life and law,” Douglas said in the news release. “That enables our team to provide our clients with comprehensive legal advice that’s tailored to their requirements.”

“We have built a team of incredible professionals whose own names, dedication and success embody our shared reputation for client excellence,” Foley added in the firm’s news release. “That’s our legacy.”

“Foley Douglas represents who we are, the values we embody and the commitment we make; legal advice for life from a firm that has people at its heart,” according to a note on the firm’s website regarding the rebranding.
