The promotions were made across the firm’s Auckland and Wellington offices

Four elevated to senior associates at Buddle Findlay

Andrijana Milosavljevic, Seamus Barnett, Chelsea Easter and Emma Roper have been promoted to senior associates at Buddle Findlay.

The appointments took effect on 1 January. Milosavljevic and Barnett work from Auckland, while Easter and Roper practise from Wellington.

Milosavljevic is on the commercial litigation team. She focuses on dispute resolution and is an expert in contractual disputes, insolvency and property disputes.

Her clients have included financial institutions, education providers, public sector bodies, insolvency practitioners and high net worth individuals.

Barnett is part of the banking team. He concentrates on banking and finance law and has tackled matters involving leveraged and acquisition finance, syndicated lending, property finance and fund finance. He has worked with both domestic and international lenders and borrowers.

Easter is on the environment and resource management team. She is a specialist in resource management, environmental, Māori, conservation and public law.

She has appeared before the Environment Court, High Court and Court of Appeal. She is an expert in appeals and judicial review and has advised on the consenting of complex infrastructure projects.

Roper is a corporate law specialist in Buddle Findlay’s corporate and commercial team. She has handled M&A, capital raising and investments, corporate structuring and ongoing corporate governance.

She has drafted and negotiated commercial and joint venture agreements. She has also worked on domestic and international corporate transactions in the technology, primary industry and energy sectors.

Buddle Findlay also promoted Emma von Veh and Helen Pryde to the partnership this month.
