New appointment adds firepower to its property, construction and insurance practices

Duncan Cotterill welcomes new special counsel

Duncan Cotterill has appointed Tanya Wood as special counsel.

The senior lawyer moved to the firm earlier this month from MinterEllisonRuddWatts, where she was a special counsel. Prior to that, she was at Jones Fee.

Wood, who has more than 17 years’ experience, specialises in construction litigation and insurance law with particular expertise in the resolution of complex building disputes. Her practice serves owners, developers, contractors, and consultants in all aspects of project and contract disputes

She is a member of the Society of Construction Law New Zealand and the New Zealand Insurance Law Association.
