Mills Oakley assists Viridis Australia on Oleum Holdings shares sale

Mills Oakley has assisted Viridis Australia Pty Ltd as it divested its shares in Oleum Holdings Pty Ltd to ASX lister Redox Limited.

The deal was completed on 2 July, with the firm’s team providing guidance on all aspects of the transaction. The team worked on the negotiation and entry into the share sale agreement and other transaction documents.

According to Mills Oakley lead partner Brendan Sheehan, the team has “no doubt that Oleum’s presence and expertise in the Australian market will enable Redox to increase its global growth, expanding its operations in Australia and beyond”. He confirmed that the team collaborated with Redox as well in working on the transaction.

Sheehan received support from lawyers Laura Chesney and Stacey Loizou.

Launched in 2015 by John Lemanis, Oleum is a major chemical distributor, particularly for the Australian mining, agriculture, personal care, and surface coating sectors. Co-owner Dulcimer Pty Limited received legal advice from White & Case.
