King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) has elevated 13 lawyers as its newest partners in its mid-year promotions round.

“Each of our new partners are at the leading-edge with their specialist legal skills, expertise and passion for delivering outstanding client service. The appointments strengthen the firm’s offerings in burgeoning areas like fintech, regulatory investigation, technology/data and energy, KWM noted. The lawyers hail from the firm’s offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

The lucky 13 are as follows:

  • Daniel Bragg – structured finance and securitisation
  • Matthew Carr – construction dispute resolution
  • Dan Flanagan – acquisition finance and corporate finance
  • Jasmine Forde – dispute resolution
  • Natalie Halpern – corporate finance and debt capital markets
  • Amanda Isouard – ECM
  • Jess Kruger – commercial transactions, technology and IP
  • James Russell – commercial disputes
  • Tim Sumner – government, energy, natural resources and infrastructure
  • Judith Taylor – income tax
  • Mandy Tsang – insurance
  • Mark Vanderneut – public and private M&A
  • Angela Weber – employee relations and safety

The new partners step into their roles on 1 July.
