White & Case expands global mergers & acquisitions practice in New York

White & Case LLP has expanded its global mergers and acquisitions practice with the addition of Kimberly Petillo-Décossard and Ross Sturman as partners in New York.

"Kimberly and Ross represent a number of leading corporations in fulfilling a wide range of their complex corporate needs," said Michael Deyong, head of Americas M&A at White & Case. "They bring an ideal skill set to further deepen and expand our M&A team."

Petillo-Décossard and Sturman both arrive to White & Case from Cahill Gordon & Reindel, where Petillo-Décossard was co-chair of the M&A and corporate advisory practice, and where they both started their legal careers.

"We are thrilled to welcome Kimberly and Ross to the Firm," said Arlene Arin Hahn, White & Case's technology transactions practice head. "They have built an outstanding practice, and we are confident that their clients will benefit from White & Case's global platform, industry expertise and full-service offering."

White & Case's M&A practice capitalizes on its global presence and expertise in all major M&A industries.

Petillo-Décossard and Sturman's arrival builds on the continued growth of White & Case’s global M&A practice, including the recent additions of M&A partner Hayden Baker, who joined the New York office in February, and tax partners Jessica Kemp, who joined the firm's London office in February, and Jeffrey Davis, who joined the Washington, DC office in March.
