King & Wood Mallesons has advised Investec Australia Property Fund on its $160 million acquisition of two Sydney office properties.

Investec, a new client of the firm, acquired the units of two trusts which hold two properties – located in North Ryde and Frenches Forrest – which were previously owned by Blackstone.

Both properties comprise approximately 27,400sqm of office and 475sqm of retail space combined.

The KWM team was led by partner Susan Hilliard. She was supported by partner Emily Masters; senior associates Daniel Natale, Joseph Ip and Jennifer Zhou; and solicitors Jonathan Garson and Janine Low.

The properties boost Investec’s medium-term income.
