She was Deloitte’s chief transformation officer – Asia Pacific risk
Deloitte’s chief transformation officer – Asia Pacific risk, Jaella Parker, has been announced as the City of Moreton Bay’s new chief legal counsel.
She steps into the role tomorrow 13 January, succeeding Kate Draper. She commences with the organisation as the Brisbane 2032 Olympics and Paralympics approach.
“Jaella brings a wealth of experience in providing business-driven legal advice, developing legal strategy, risk management, and business transformation”, said City of Moreton Bay CEO Scott Waters.
While at Deloitte, where she was a partner, Parker also served as chief operating officer and associate general counsel for the company’s Asia Pacific Office of General Counsel. Moreover, she was associate general counsel and operations for Deloitte’s Australian Office of General Counsel, per LinkedIn.
She also recorded a stint as a lawyer in Hall & Wilcox’s commercial team from 2011 to 2013.
Parker’s predecessor, Draper, joined the Brisbane City Council.
