She assumes the role on 27 April
Dr Tina Parras has left her chief people officer and executive director (people, culture and wellbeing) roles at Court Services Victoria to join Slater and Gordon as its new chief people officer.
She takes up the post on 27 April. According to CEO Dina Tutungi, Parras’ experience and track record in leadership capability building aligned with the firm’s focus.
“She has spent her career building the capability of teams and organisations operating in complex, high pressure environments, and she understands what it takes to support people who do demanding, client-facing work”, Tutungi said.
While at Court Services Victoria, Parras headed up people strategy and reform throughout the courts system in the state. Over a career spanning 25 years, she has held senior leadership roles in the public sector.
She was director of organisational development and talen acquisition at the Department of Transport in Melbourne. She was also organisational performance manager at Moreland City Council as well as organisational development and IT manager at the Wyndham City Council, according to LinkedIn.
Parras has worked with state and local governments, concentrating on leadership and capability building, organisational performance and workplace reform. She obtained her PhD in human resources from the RMIT University and graduated from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
