Corporate and M&A specialist joins Gilbert + Tobin as partner

Gilbert + Tobin (G+T) has announced that Karen Evans-Cullen has joined their corporate advisory/mergers and acquisitions practice in Sydney as partner.

Evans-Cullen has over 20 years' experience as a strategic mergers and acquisitions and corporate advisory lawyer and has acted in a number of Australia’s significant corporate transactions across a broad range of industry sectors.

She is also a member of the Australian Takeovers Panel, a government appointed peer review body that regulates corporate controls transactions in widely held Australian entries.

In a statement, G+T said that Evans-Cullen is “highly regarded for her ability to deliver innovative solutions to achieve her clients’ objectives” and brings “a wealth of experience in advising boards and management on corporate governance issues.”

For their part, G+T’s co-heads of corporate advisory Costas Condoleon and Neil Pathak said that they are “thrilled to have Karen join our corporate/M&A practice.”

“Karen’s deep experience and client connectivity, commitment to excellence and outstanding credentials will add to our corporate/M&A team, which focuses on advising clients on their most significant transactions,” they said.
