Megan Duane, Will Golinelli, JK Muckersie, Jessica Wacker also join partnership
Clayton Utz has announced the promotion of Kimberley Bruce, Roxana Carrion, Amy Carseldine, Megan Duane, Will Golinelli, JK Muckersie, and Jessica Wacker to its partnership as of 1 January 2026.

Covacevich explained that the newly appointed partners have cross-sector experience spanning litigation, class actions, corporate mergers and acquisitions, and native title.
“These promotions reflect the dedication and technical knowledge of these outstanding lawyers,” Covacevich said in the media release.

She has acted for Australian and international companies and sponsors on Australian and cross-border corporate transactions, with an emphasis on private and public M&A. She also assists with matters involving Australian corporate law, corporate governance, Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) listing rules, Takeover Panel matters, and foreign investment (FIRB) regulation.
As a commercial litigator, Carrion focuses on complex contractual, partnership and shareholder, M&A, and property disputes. She also has experience in royal commissions. Her clients come from sectors such as government, health, and consumer and retail.
As a native title and Aboriginal cultural heritage lawyer, Carseldine works on all areas of native title, land rights, and cultural heritage law. Her work explores an evolving area of law, specifically the intersection of native title, human rights, and ESG. She handles energy, mining, infrastructure, government, and traditional owner clients.
Duane is an environment and sustainable development lawyer with over two decades of experience under her belt. Over several years working with the Queensland government, she acted on matters involving major projects, planning and development law, and complex legislative reviews and amendments.
Golinelli has experience in alternative dispute resolution methods and negotiations, as well as complex litigation trials and hearings. His experience spans financial services, environmental contamination, infrastructure, insurance, and public sector litigation.
Joining Clayton Utz in 2014, Muckersie is a litigation lawyer with experience in commercial disputes and regulatory investigations and proceedings. She has handled contractual disputes, corporate law, financial services and credit regulation, competition and consumer law, and property and lease disputes.
As a construction lawyer focusing on disputes, Wacker has more than a decade of experience acting for public and private sector clients across the Asia–Pacific. She deals with contractual claims, including variations, defects, delays, disruptions, and acceleration. She also handles extracontractual claims involving negligence, restitution, and the Australian Consumer Law.
