Barry.Nilsson. appoints industry veteran to family law practice in Sydney

Barry.Nilsson. has appointed an accredited family law specialist to its ranks, less than three months after starting its family law practice in Sydney.

Christine Kelly has joined the firm’s Sydney office as a part-time consultant, and brings more than 30 years family law experience to the role.

Kelly spent nine years as partner with Barkus Doolan Kelly (formerly Barkus Edwards Doolan), and most recently came from a consulting stint with Reid Family Lawyers.

“Having known a number of members of (the Barry.Nilsson.) family law team, I have always respected and admired their commitment to their clients and the quality of their representation,” Kelly said.

Barry.Nilsson. offers family law services in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. The Sydney office opened in April. This followed what the firm said was a strong period of growth to more than 270 employees and a national presence in insurance and family law.

“We particularly liked Christine’s strong experience in complex financial cases as well her experience in mediation and parenting matters,” said Barry.Nilsson. managing director Don Leembruggen.
