Ashurst adds partner to global markets practice in Hong Kong

Global firm Ashurst has announced the addition of Jonathan Chapman as a partner in its global markets practice, based in Hong Kong.

In a statement, Ashurst said that Chapman advises a wide range of clients – including investment banks, funds, insurance companies, and corporates with respect to complex structured finance and derivatives transactions across the Asia-Pacific region.

“He has developed a particular expertise advising on structured equity transactions, structured fixed income transactions, the impact of international derivative regulations, issues around IBOR transition, and hedging transactions,” the firm said.
