Mike Brooker continues to lead a small in-house team of four lawyers which provides a full range of legal services to one of New Zealand’s biggest businesses, Foodstuffs North Island Limited. Brooker has continued to guide the business through his many roles including general counsel, company secretary, superannuation fund secretary, privacy office and crisis management team lead. Over the last 12 months, Brooker and his team have been heavily involved in many projects including the acquisition of Leigh Fisheries; the renewal and renegotiation of a key supplier contract with Fonterra Brands; and leading on innovation within the contracting space.
