Flacks & Wong has welcomed Jason Maddox as its new senior associate.
Maddox comes in as a corporate and commercial law specialist with more than 14 years of experience. He has handled public takeovers and schemes of arrangement, private mergers and acquisitions, governance matters and equity capital markets transactions.
He has overseen competing workstreams and guided boards and senior management through transactional and day-to-day matters. He has worked on issues related to corporate compliance, shareholding, property, finance, financial services, foreign investment and aircraft acquisition.
Maddox was a part of deal teams that picked up wins and Excellence Awards in the M&A Deal of the Year and Mid-Market Deal of the Year categories at the New Zealand Law Awards. Before jumping to Flacks & Wong, he was a senior associate working from Harmos Horton Lusk’s Auckland branch.
